About

I'm Chris. This blog is where I write about what I'm working on, what I've learned, and what I'm thinking about. While the archive skews toward how to write code, these days I'm more interested in organizational questions — how to set up humans and AI agents to work alongside each other. I'm also working on a few side projects in the areas of language learning, fact-checking, and social media automation. More coming from these directions soon.

Before I decided to back myself and commit fully to creating my own path, I was a software engineer at Microsoft, where I worked on building out the Clipchamp Video Editor (a.k.a “Canva for video”) from Series A and early product-market-fit through to it's successful acquisition. I am also an experienced engineering consultant and project manager on large infrastructure projects, and have leveraged my mathematics and software background to help businesses automate their engineering design and project management processes. For a few years, I also ran a small but successful mathematics and engineering tuition business.

For enquiries regarding any projects that might be good fit my input, whether it be for advising, contributing, or investing in, please get in touch.

When not building software, you will probably find me completely unplugged from the matrix - spear fishing, river tracing, sleeping on a mountain, practicing martial arts or yoga, reading, or making music.

And if you are into this kind of thing, here's my personal “user manual”.
